Every elevator bucket manufacturer, has a "GROSS" or 100% capacity rating for their buckets. This figure, along with a multiplier (usually .75 to .90), is used to calculate the capacity of an elevator leg. If you are a leg designer or engineer, you are at the mercy of the cup manufacturer's ratings and the multiplier he recommends using, to achieve the leg output you desire. |
